The Design stream of the Foundation Program at Curtin University Dubai is structured to prepare students for undergraduate studies in design, creative industries, and business-related fields by building strong academic, analytical, and practical foundations. In the two-trimester pathway, Trimester 1 focuses on developing essential academic competencies through Critical Thinking, Research, and Writing, enabling students to analyze concepts, construct arguments, and communicate ideas effectively. Computer Productivity strengthens digital literacy and technical skills required for modern academic and professional environments, while Mathematical Foundations 1 builds fundamental quantitative reasoning.
