COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science at Curtin University offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop a strong foundation in psychological theory, research, and professional practice. The program introduces students to core concepts through units such as Introduction to Psychology and Foundations of Psychology, before expanding into specialized areas including Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognition, Perception, Individual Differences, and the Psychology of Learning. Students explore human development across the lifespan in Child Developmental Psychology and Adult Developmental Psychology, while Brain and Behaviour examines the biological basis of mental processes. The curriculum also emphasizes cultural awareness and inclusivity through Indigenous and Cross Cultural Psychology, as well as Community Psychology and Health and Wellbeing in Social and Cultural Contexts.
