COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over 4 years (240 ECTS credits). Year 1 includes foundational courses such as Calculus I & II, Physics I & II, General Chemistry, Introduction to Oil, Gas and Energy Engineering, and Computer Programming. Year 2 covers Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Science, Geology for Engineers, Strength of Materials, and Probability and Statistics. Year 3 focuses on advanced topics like Reservoir Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Heat Transfer, Petroleum Geology, Numerical Methods, and Renewable Energy Sources. Year 4 includes Production Engineering, Natural Gas Engineering, Pipeline Transportation, Refinery Processes, Environmental Impact, Energy Economics, and a Senior Design Project. Elective courses are also available in areas like Offshore Engineering and Biofuels.
