COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Human Resource Management curriculum is structured to develop advanced knowledge and strategic competencies in managing people within global and dynamic organisational contexts. The compulsory modules provide a strong foundation, beginning with Global People Management, which examines international HR practices and cross-cultural workforce challenges. Managing People focuses on leadership, employee relations, motivation, and performance management, equipping students with practical and analytical skills to enhance organisational effectiveness. The program culminates in a Research Project, enabling students to conduct independent investigation into a contemporary HR issue and apply evidence-based approaches to real-world organisational challenges. Students can further tailor their studies through optional modules such as Research in Practice, which strengthens applied research capabilities, and Global People Development, which explores talent development and learning strategies in international settings. Strategic HRM Futures examines emerging trends and the future direction of human resource management, while Strategic Human Resource Development emphasises long-term workforce planning and organisational growth.
