COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Data Analytics curriculum at UCLan Cyprus is designed to develop advanced technical, analytical, and research skills essential for careers in data-driven environments. The compulsory modules provide a solid foundation, beginning with Knowledge Discovery, which teaches students how to extract valuable insights from large and complex data sets, and Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, which focuses on applying analytical methods to support informed business decisions. Enterprise Data Management equips students with skills to design, organise, and query databases effectively, while Exploratory Data Analysis emphasises summarising and visualising data to uncover trends and patterns. Critical Analysis develops the ability to evaluate complex problems, integrate insights, and make evidence-based decisions. The Master’s Project allows students to apply their learning in a substantial research or applied project, demonstrating both technical expertise and analytical rigor. Optional modules provide opportunities for further specialisation and professional enhancement, including International Strategic Management, ERP Systems, Artificial Intelligence, E-Marketing, and Information Security Management.
