COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management curriculum combines core managerial knowledge with specialised options to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the global service industry. The compulsory modules provide a strong foundation, including Global Hospitality, Themes and Brands, which explores international hospitality concepts and brand strategies, and Management Development in Tourism, Hospitality and Events, which focuses on leadership and professional growth. The Principles and Practice of Tourism, Hospitality and Events examines operational and strategic frameworks across the sectors, while Tourism and Sustainability addresses responsible management and long-term environmental and socio-economic impact. The program culminates in a Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management Dissertation, enabling students to conduct independent research on a relevant industry issue. Students can tailor their expertise through optional modules such as International Strategic Management, Contemporary Marketing in Tourism, International Tourism Management, Festivals, Arts, Cultural and Heritage Events, and Event Planning and Management.
