COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts in Business Management program is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of business principles, management practices, and specialized areas over eight semesters. The first year focuses on foundational knowledge, including statistics, research methodology, economics, business management, and quantitative methods or business mathematics. The second year builds on this with microeconomics, macroeconomics, accounting, information systems, and organizational theory, preparing students for practical business applications. In the third and fourth semesters, students delve into accounting, finance, strategic management, business law, marketing, human resource management, digital infrastructure, and international organizations, alongside co-requisite electives such as strategic operations, operations research, selling, or consumer behavior. The fifth and sixth semesters emphasize leadership, ethics, international trade, strategic management, marketing management, innovation, e-business, governance, corporate social responsibility, brand management, social media management, and global environmental or supply chain issues. The final year, semesters seven and eight, focuses on advanced topics including market research, financial markets, managerial economics, research process and essay writing, retail management, business and society, negotiations, international relations, and customer relationship management, culminating in a thesis project. Throughout the program, students engage in elective courses that allow them to tailor their learning to specific interests, ensuring a balance of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and global business perspectives.
