COURSE CURRICULUM

The programme consists of 64 credits and 120 ECTS and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in hospitality operations, customer service, and management skills required for entry-level and supervisory positions in the hospitality industry. The curriculum focuses primarily on hospitality studies, covering key areas such as gastronomy and culinary theory, hospitality management, food and beverage service, housekeeping and maintenance management, front office operations, restaurant management, bar and beverage operations, and banqueting and event management. An internship component allows students to gain valuable practical experience and apply their knowledge in real hospitality environments. The programme also introduces students to the tourism sector through courses in travel and tourism and hospitality marketing, helping them understand industry trends and customer expectations. Supporting modules in business and technology develop essential skills in communication, mathematics, and digital literacy through courses such as interactive communications in hospitality and business mathematics. English language courses strengthen students' academic and professional communication abilities, preparing them to work in international and multicultural environments. A variety of elective courses enables students to broaden their knowledge in areas including accounting, e-commerce, food and beverage management, human resource management, food hygiene and safety, and management principles. Students can also develop cultural awareness and language skills through French and Greek language courses, applied ethics, and cultural understanding and etiquette. By combining theoretical learning with practical training and industry exposure, the programme equips graduates with the knowledge, technical competencies, and interpersonal skills necessary to deliver high-quality customer service and effectively manage hospitality operations. Graduates are prepared for careers in hotels, restaurants, resorts, catering companies, event venues, and other service-oriented organisations, with the skills and confidence needed to progress into supervisory and management roles within the global hospitality and tourism industry.
