COURSE CURRICULUM
The Hotel Animation programme offers a comprehensive two-year curriculum designed to prepare students for careers in hospitality entertainment, recreation, and guest activity management. During the first semester, students are introduced to the hospitality and tourism business environment, the principles of hospitality animation, English composition, and psychology, providing a strong foundation in communication, human behaviour, and the role of entertainment within the tourism industry. Students also study a foreign language, selecting from Greek, German, Russian, Spanish, or French to enhance their ability to work in international and multicultural environments. In the second semester, the curriculum expands to include tourism geography, hospitality health and safety, advanced English writing, and an internship that provides valuable practical experience in professional settings. The third semester focuses on specialised animation and entertainment management subjects, including indoor and outdoor stage operations, children's activities management, customer service management, sports and leisure management, and special interest tourism. These modules equip students with the practical and organisational skills required to plan and deliver engaging recreational programmes and entertainment activities for diverse groups of guests. In the final semester, students further develop their professional competencies through studies in business communication, theatre, imitation, pantomime and drama management, dance, movement and body language, public relations and publicity, and hospitality facilities planning and development. Throughout the programme, students develop creativity, leadership, teamwork, communication, and event management skills while gaining an understanding of guest relations and customer satisfaction. The integration of theoretical knowledge, practical training, and language development prepares graduates to organise and manage entertainment programmes, recreational activities, and special events in hotels, resorts, cruise ships, holiday villages, and other tourism establishments. Overall, the programme provides a balanced education that combines hospitality, tourism, and performance skills, enabling graduates to pursue rewarding careers in hotel animation, leisure management, event coordination, and guest entertainment within the global hospitality industry.
