COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration is a comprehensive four-year programme comprising 240 ECTS credits, designed to develop knowledgeable, skilled, and industry-ready hospitality professionals. The curriculum begins with a strong foundation in the hospitality sector through modules such as Introduction to the Hospitality Industry, Front Office Operations, Food and Beverage Service, Tourism Economics, Management, Marketing, and Business Communication. As students progress, they gain deeper knowledge in areas including Food and Beverage Management, Research Methods, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Public Relations, Consumer Behaviour, and M.I.C.E. Operations and Management. The programme further enhances students’ managerial capabilities through specialised subjects such as Hotel Operations Management, Sustainable Hospitality and Green Hotels, Human Resource Management, Service Quality Management, Digital Technologies, Crisis Management, and Organisational Behaviour. In the final year, students focus on strategic and advanced aspects of the industry, studying Revenue Management, Hospitality Planning and Development, Risk Management, Strategic Marketing, International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Contemporary Issues, Strategic Management, and Hospitality Entrepreneurship and Innovations. The programme also offers a wide range of elective modules, including Tourism Economics, Sociology of Tourism, Food Culture and Nutrition, Hospitality Safety and Security, Casino Operations Management, Cultural and Heritage Tourism, E-Marketing and Social Media, Consumer Behaviour Trends, and a Final Year Project. Additionally, students may undertake optional Hospitality Industrial Practical Training to gain valuable real-world experience and strengthen their professional skills.
