COURSE CURRICULUM

The program provides a comprehensive four semester structure designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in hospitality and tourism management. In the first semester, students are introduced to the hospitality and tourism industry, tourism economics, academic writing, accounting principles, and foreign languages including German, Russian, and French. The second semester builds on this foundation with courses in tourism geography, front office operations, advanced accounting, and management theory, alongside continued language development. A compulsory summer internship allows students to gain practical workplace experience, understand organizational culture, and participate in real management activities. The third semester focuses on operational and analytical competencies through housekeeping and maintenance operations, air travel fares and ticketing, business statistics, food and beverage management, and organizational behaviour. In the final semester, students explore specialized and strategic areas such as meetings and conference management, the structure and sustainability of tourism, marketing principles, leisure and recreation studies, and spa and wellness management. Overall, the curriculum integrates business, management, operational, and cultural knowledge, preparing graduates with the professional skills, industry awareness, and practical experience necessary for successful careers in the diverse and evolving hospitality and tourism sector.
