COURSE CURRICULUM

The Aviation Management program is structured over four semesters to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of business and aviation operations. In the first semester, students are introduced to management theory within an aviation context, accounting principles, microeconomics, airline management and operations, and business communication skills. The second semester builds on this foundation with studies in organisational behaviour, advanced accounting, statistics, airport operations, and the environmental impacts of aviation. In the third semester, the focus shifts to specialized and operational subjects including human factors in aviation, air travel fares and ticketing, marketing and promotional strategies, financial reporting, and human resource management. These courses strengthen analytical, financial, and managerial competencies required in aviation organisations. The final semester emphasizes strategic and regulatory aspects of the industry, covering customer service management in aviation environments, aviation law, leadership principles, business strategy and policy in aviation, and aviation safety management systems. Throughout the program, students develop critical thinking, decision making, communication, and leadership skills while gaining insight into regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and competitive strategies. Overall, the curriculum integrates core business knowledge with industry specific expertise, preparing graduates for professional roles in airlines, airports, and aviation related organisations.
