COURSE CURRICULUM

The four year Hospitality and Tourism Management program offers a comprehensive curriculum combining theoretical knowledge with practical industry experience. In the first year, students gain foundational understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry, microeconomics, accounting, management, tourism geography, and business communication, while also developing foreign language skills in German, Russian, or French. The second year introduces specialized operational subjects such as housekeeping, front office operations, food science, air travel and ticketing, tourism structure, leisure and recreation, spa and wellness management, marketing, and business law. In the third year, students deepen their expertise in food and beverage management, sustainable tourism, casino and events management, environmental management, operations management, and hospitality case studies, alongside completing their first industry internship to gain hands on experience. The final year emphasizes strategic and managerial development through business strategy, research methods, hospitality information systems, innovation and entrepreneurship, tourism heritage, service quality management, and human resource management. Students may also explore air transport management or restaurant innovation. The program concludes with a supervised research project and a second extensive industry internship of 500 hours. Overall, the degree equips graduates with managerial, analytical, and operational skills necessary for leadership roles in the global hospitality and tourism sector.
