ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Alexander College has built a strong reputation for educational excellence through its long-standing collaborations with accredited UK universities and awarding bodies. Established in 1991 in Larnaca, the College initially focused on vocational education for students pursuing careers in the design and print industry, offering Higher Diplomas through BTEC partnerships. As Cyprus experienced technological advancements, increased international trade, and social changes in the late 1990s, Alexander College expanded its offerings to include franchised undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes from UK universities. This development enabled local students to earn UK qualifications without leaving the island. By 2001, the College had established partnerships with multiple UK institutions, introducing a wide range of courses in law, design, business, accounting, and other fields. The expansion continued with a second campus in Paphos, broadening access for students across Cyprus. Over the years, Alexander College students have achieved success as artists, designers, photographers, business professionals, and legal practitioners, with graduates winning prestigious awards, exhibiting in local and international galleries, and publishing work in journals and magazines.
