COURSE CURRICULUM

The Physics program is structured to develop students’ understanding of fundamental physical principles, advanced scientific concepts, and practical problem-solving skills applicable across science and technology fields. After completing foundational studies in the first year, students progress to specialized coursework in the second year, beginning with Calculus 2 and Classical Mechanics and Quantum Physics. These subjects provide a strong foundation in mathematical techniques, motion, forces, energy, and the principles of quantum systems. In the second semester, students study Electromagnetism and Linear Algebra 2, developing knowledge of electric and magnetic fields, mathematical structures, and analytical methods used in advanced physics. In the third year, students explore Quantum Mechanics, gaining insight into the behavior of matter and energy at microscopic scales. They also choose between STEM Professional Practice and Physics Project 1, allowing them to develop professional skills or gain research experience. Further studies include Solid State Physics, which examines the properties of materials and their applications, along with options such as STEM Professional Practice, Physics Project 2, or Nuclear and Particle Physics to expand expertise in research, industry applications, or fundamental physics. The program combines theoretical learning, mathematical analysis, and practical investigation to prepare graduates for careers in scientific research, engineering, technology, education, materials science, and other fields requiring advanced analytical and technical skills.
