COURSE CURRICULUM

The Software Systems Engineering program is structured over four years to develop students’ expertise in designing, developing, testing, and managing advanced software-based systems. After completing foundational engineering studies in the first year, students progress to specialized subjects in the second year, including Foundations of Digital Design, Fundamental Concepts of Data Security, Introduction to Software Engineering, Microcomputers, Requirements Engineering, and Unix and C Programming. These courses provide essential knowledge in digital systems, cybersecurity, programming, computer architecture, and software development processes. In the third year, students expand their technical skills through Human Computer Interface, Object Oriented Software Engineering, Software Engineering Testing, Data Communications and Networking, Database Systems, and Engineering Management and Professional Practice. These subjects focus on creating user-focused software solutions, improving system reliability, managing data, understanding networks, and applying professional engineering principles. The program emphasizes practical learning, problem-solving, system analysis, and software development methodologies to prepare students for real-world technology challenges.
