COURSE CURRICULUM

The Mechanical Engineering program is structured over four years to provide students with a strong foundation in engineering principles, practical design skills, and advanced mechanical systems knowledge. After completing introductory engineering studies in the first year, students progress to specialized subjects in the second year, including Computer Aided Drawing and Engineering Modelling, Fluid Mechanics, Fundamentals of Strength of Materials, Machine Dynamics, Ethics and Sustainability in Engineering, Fundamentals of Mechanical Design, Fundamentals of Thermodynamics, and Manufacturing Processes. These courses develop essential skills in engineering analysis, mechanical design, energy systems, materials behavior, and sustainable engineering practices. In the third year, students expand their technical expertise through advanced subjects such as Advanced Strength of Materials, Fundamentals of Heat Transfer, Linear Systems and Vibrations, Applied Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Professionalism and Communication, and Machine Design. These units focus on analyzing complex mechanical systems, improving design performance, understanding energy transfer, and developing professional engineering capabilities. The program combines theoretical learning with practical applications, enabling students to solve real-world engineering problems across various industries.
