COURSE CURRICULUM

The Electrical and Electronic Engineering program is structured over four years to provide students with a strong foundation in electrical systems, electronics, digital technologies, and modern engineering applications. Following introductory engineering studies in the first year, the second year focuses on core subjects such as Calculus 2, Electrical Circuits, Electronic Fundamentals, Foundations of Digital Design, Electrical Machines, Engineering Management and Professional Practice, Microcomputers, and Signals and Systems. These courses develop essential mathematical, analytical, and technical skills required for engineering practice. In the third year, students build advanced knowledge through Dynamic Modelling and Control, Power Electronics, Industrial Automated Systems, Communications Engineering, Power System Analysis, and Renewable Energy Principles. These subjects prepare students to design and manage electrical, electronic, automation, communication, and sustainable energy systems. During the final year, the curriculum emphasizes professional design and research through Power Grid Infrastructure and Protection Systems, Integrated Design Project, and two Engineering Research Projects that strengthen innovation, problem-solving, and practical engineering capabilities. Students also select an alternate core subject in either CPU and GPU Architectures or Engineering Electromagnetics to broaden their specialization. Overall, the program equips graduates with the technical expertise, research experience, and professional skills required for successful careers in power systems, automation, embedded systems, renewable energy, telecommunications, and advanced electronic engineering industries.
