COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Innovation double degree offers an interdisciplinary course structure that combines creative, cultural and social knowledge with innovation, business and entrepreneurial skills. In the first year, students develop foundational abilities through studies in financial decision-making, sustainability communication, legal frameworks, strategic career design and cultural perspectives, while selecting Arts-based options such as creative writing, digital media, international relations, languages, geography, history, screen arts and other creative disciplines. Students also begin developing design and technology capabilities through units in design computing, business programming and design principles. In the second year, students complete innovation-focused studies and select an Arts major or specialisation, allowing them to tailor their degree to personal interests and career goals. The third year builds advanced innovation capabilities through responsible leadership and sustainable business innovation projects. In the final year, students gain practical industry experience through business study tours, project management, internships, innovation labs and management-focused units. This flexible structure encourages collaboration, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking while developing professional skills in communication, leadership, problem-solving and project development.
