COURSE CURRICULUM

The course structure of the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) in Data Science is designed to develop advanced skills in computing, statistics, data analysis, and emerging data technologies. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through studies in programming, probability, data analysis, database systems, regression methods, mathematics, and scientific concepts, supported by a range of science electives. The second year focuses on practical data science applications, including analytics for experimental and simulated data, computer simulation, data structures, and data security, while also developing research, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills.
