COURSE CURRICULUM

The Diploma in Business requires the completion of exactly 80 credit points, all drawn from specified foundational business units designed to build core academic and professional skills. Students study eight units, each worth 10 credit points, covering essential areas such as financial literacy, marketing, management, economics, organisational behaviour, information technology and academic literacy. A recommended starting point is the Academic Literacy in Business and Information Technology unit, which supports students in developing the communication and study skills needed for success in later subjects. In the first semester of Year 1, students complete Financial Literacy, Marketing Essentials, Managing People and Organisations, and Academic Literacy in Business and Information Technology.
