COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Creative Arts program is designed to combine artistic talent with leadership, management, research, and entrepreneurial skills required for success in modern creative industries. The curriculum includes core courses that focus on the cultural, ethical, political, and global dimensions of the arts while helping students understand project management, talent management, arts administration, financial leadership, and entrepreneurship within creative sectors. Students also develop research and analytical abilities through courses such as Research Methods for the Creative Arts and Criticism Methods of Evaluating and Assessing Creative Activity. The program concludes with two graduating projects that allow students to apply their knowledge in practical and professional settings. In addition to the core curriculum, students complete a broad range of general studies courses that strengthen communication, creativity, innovation, sociology, psychology, philosophy, economics, and cross-cultural understanding. Courses such as Design Thinking, Smart and Sustainable Cities, Indigenous Perspectives on the Arts, and Topics in Technology and Society encourage students to connect creativity with real-world social and technological issues. Overall, the program prepares graduates to become innovative creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders capable of working across diverse artistic and cultural industries in Canada and internationally.
