Yorkville University is a private for-profit university in Canada, established in 2003. It began admitting students in the fall of 2004 through its initial campus in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Over time, the university expanded its presence by launching a physical campus in Vancouver, British Columbia, and acquiring two additional campuses in Toronto, Ontario. In 2018, Yorkville University acquired RCC Institute of Technology, which included three distinct schools: the Academy of Design, the School of Engineering Technology and Computing, and the Toronto Film School. This acquisition allowed Yorkville to significantly broaden its academic offerings in areas such as design, technology, and the creative arts, while continuing to deliver both on-campus and online programs across multiple provinces in Canada.
