COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Mathematics with Data Analytics, first-year students develop a solid foundation in essential mathematical concepts through required courses such as Calculus I and II, Introductory Linear Algebra, Introduction to Mathematical Proofs, Introduction to Mathematics for Finance, and Introduction to Data Analytics. These courses provide the analytical and computational skills necessary for advanced studies and data-focused applications. Students also have the flexibility to choose from a variety of electives spanning natural sciences, computing, and social sciences, including Unifying Life Processes, Biological Diversity and Evolution, Fundamentals of Chemistry, Introduction to Programming, Data Structures, Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Waves, Introductory Economics, and Earth Science courses, which allow them to integrate mathematics with other disciplines. Upper-year courses offer opportunities to specialize and expand mathematical expertise through topics such as Geometry and Differential Geometry, Graph Theory, Numerical Analysis, Dynamical Systems, Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Biology, Group Theory, Ring and Field Theory, and Advanced Linear Algebra. Data-focused and applied courses include Probability, Regression Analysis, Stochastic Processes, Monte Carlo Methods, Statistical Learning, Optimization, and Data Analytics. This BSc program equips students with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for careers in research, finance, data science, technology, or graduate studies in mathematics and related fields.
