COURSE CURRICULUM

BA in Multidisciplinary Studies offers a highly flexible program that allows you to create a personalized academic journey across multiple disciplines. The program requires only one core course, AF495 Multidisciplinary Capstone Experience, in your final year. This seminar brings together the knowledge, skills, and experiences you have gained throughout your degree into a meaningful research project, emphasizing integrative learning. To prepare for this capstone, students work closely with an academic advisor from the beginning of their studies, selecting courses and experiences that align with their interests, goals, and career aspirations. First-year students can explore a broad range of topics, including One Planet, Many Worlds, Introduction to Criminology, Ancient Rome, Cultures Today, Revolution in the Modern World, Leadership Foundations, Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Psychology, and Reading Fiction. In upper years, students can continue to tailor their studies through courses such as Psychology of Crime, Women, Gender and Work, Communication Skills for Leadership, Philosophy of War and Peace, Children’s Literature, Game Cultures, World Religions in Global Perspective, Sociology of Families, Youth Justice, and Leadership Ethics. This flexibility allows students to combine courses from arts, social sciences, leadership, and other areas, developing versatile skills, critical thinking, and adaptability while preparing for a wide range of careers or further studies.
