COURSE CURRICULUM

This comprehensive IT Project Management program consists of 42 credits delivered over four academic terms, designed to prepare students for leadership roles in managing technology-driven projects and to pursue certifications such as PMP®, CAPM®, and ITIL®. In the first year, Term 1 introduces foundational skills through courses in Principles of Project Management, Stakeholder Management and Business Communication, Project Scope Planning and Business Requirements, and IT Systems and Infrastructure for Project Managers, totaling 12 credits. Term 2 builds on this knowledge with Cloud Operations and Integration, Data Analytics in IT Project Environments, Schedule, Cost and Quality Management, and Managing Privacy, Security, and Risk in Technology Projects, offering another 12 credits and focusing on the operational and analytical dimensions of IT project environments. The second year advances into applied and strategic learning. In Term 1, students explore Technology Integration in Project Management Practice, Agile Methodologies for Product Innovation, and Leadership and Organizational Change, for a total of 9 credits. Term 2 concludes the program with an IT Project Management Capstone and Integration course, ITIL Foundations for Project Execution, and IT Resource, Procurement, and Contracts, also totaling 9 credits. The curriculum emphasizes real-world project management practices, combining technical, analytical, and leadership skills. Students learn to navigate different project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall, and master areas such as stakeholder engagement, security, procurement, data analysis, cloud technologies, and service management frameworks like ITIL®. Throughout the program, communication, leadership, and critical thinking are emphasized to ensure graduates can lead diverse teams, manage risk, and execute complex IT projects with confidence. By integrating theory with applied practice, the program ensures students are equipped to manage every stage of a technology project lifecycle, making them valuable assets in modern IT environments across industries.
