COURSE CURRICULUM

This Supply Chain Management program spans four terms and totals 48 credits, offering students a comprehensive education in the principles and practices of modern supply chains. In the first year, students complete 24 credits across two terms. Term 1 introduces foundational topics with courses in Fundamentals of Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Knowledge Management & Optimization, Transportation Management, and Applied Quantitative Skills, totaling 12 credits. Term 2 builds upon this foundation with courses in Supply Chain Operations Management, Inventory Control and Materials Management, Warehousing and Distribution Centres, and Procurement, Contracts & Supply Management. These courses focus on developing operational expertise and understanding the interconnected components of supply chain systems.In the second year, students continue to deepen their knowledge with another 24 credits. Term 3 includes Global Supply Chain and International Trade, Process Improvement and Operational Excellence, Marketing Strategies & Channel Management, and Supplier Management & Supply Chain Risk Management. These courses emphasize global logistics, risk mitigation, and strategic thinking in supplier relationships. Term 4 prepares students for leadership roles with courses in Supply Chain Technology & Database Design, Sustainability & Green Supply Chain, Integrated Supply Chain Leadership Capstone, and Supply Chain Finance and Cost Accounting. These courses focus on the integration of technology, environmental considerations, and financial analysis in supply chain operations.Throughout the program, students learn to manage procurement, logistics, inventory, transportation, and distribution. They also gain skills in digital tools like AI, blockchain, and supply chain software, and apply critical thinking to solve operational challenges. A strong emphasis is placed on global trade regulations, sustainability, ethics, and continuous improvement through lean principles. By the end of the program, graduates are equipped with the strategic, technological, and interpersonal skills needed to thrive in entry-level roles across diverse supply chain environments.
