COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Automotive Engineering is a course-based program requiring students to complete a total of eight courses, designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in modern automotive engineering. The program includes seven core courses, which form the foundation of the curriculum and cover essential technical and managerial topics. These courses are Mobility and Society (AUTO-8010), which explores the social and technological impact of mobility; Vehicle Systems (AUTO-8020), focusing on the integration of automotive components; Engineering Project Management, Automotive Lean and Quality Processes (AUTO-8030), emphasizing project execution and quality control; Vehicle Propulsion (AUTO-8040), which addresses engine and powertrain technologies; Vehicle Energy and Thermal Management (AUTO-8050), covering energy efficiency and thermal systems; Powertrain Systems (AUTO-8060), focusing on driveline and hybrid technologies; and Manufacturing and Robotic Fundamentals (AUTO-8070), which introduces production systems and automation in the automotive industry. In addition to the core courses, students must choose one non-core elective course to tailor their learning to specific interests, with options including Automotive Body Structures and Components (AUTO-8015) or Sensors and Controls for Electric Vehicles (AUTO-8025). Together, these courses equip students with both technical expertise and management skills, preparing them for advanced roles in automotive design, engineering, and production within the rapidly evolving global automotive industry.
