COURSE CURRICULUM

The Commercial Aviation Leadership program at the University of Windsor is structured to provide hands-on experience alongside academic instruction through a series of practicum courses across all four years. In the first year, CAVL 1970 introduces students to foundational pilot training, professional development, and basic flight operations, giving them the skills needed to start their aviation journey. In the second year, CAVL 2970 builds on these skills, allowing students to refine technical abilities, practice decision-making, and gain experience in real-world flight scenarios under supervision. The third-year course, CAVL 3970, focuses on advanced flight operations and leadership development, helping students manage complex aviation challenges while strengthening teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills essential for pilots. In the final year, CAVL 4970 serves as a capstone practicum where students demonstrate mastery of both pilot training and professional development, applying their knowledge to advanced flight scenarios and leadership exercises.
