COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s Research Paper option in the Global Governance Collaborative Aeronautics program requires students to complete six courses over the first two terms, starting with the core course GGOV 600 Global Governance. Students must also complete the aeronautics-specific courses AVIA 601 Interdisciplinary Aeronautics and AVIA 602 Interdisciplinary Aeronautics Project, which foster collaboration across various academic departments involved in the Collaborative Aeronautics Program. Additionally, students select one history course from options such as Global Governance in Historical Perspective, International Development in Historical Perspective, or Human Rights in Historical Perspective, among others. For economics, students choose one course from offerings like Governance of Global Economy, Global Business and Development, or International Trade and Development. The political science component requires completion of one course from a selection including Advanced Topics in Global Environmental Governance, Security Governance, Human Rights in the Globalized World, or International Organizations and Global Governance. This interdisciplinary degree promotes a comprehensive understanding of governance and aeronautics by combining specialist training in home departments with collaborative learning in aeronautics-related core courses. The program equips students to develop interdisciplinary solutions at the intersection of global governance and aerospace, preparing them for impactful careers in sectors such as policy, research, and industry.
