COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry (thesis-based) is a 30.0 credit hour graduate program focused on advanced scientific research and specialization in various fields of chemistry. Offered through the University of Regina, the program is designed to develop strong analytical, experimental, and research skills required for careers in academia, industry, and government laboratories. The curriculum includes a combination of graduate-level coursework and a significant research component. Students begin with CHEM 800, which typically introduces advanced research methods and foundational concepts in chemistry, followed by additional CHEM 8xx courses that allow specialization in areas such as analytical, organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry.
