COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Education (MEd) in Adult Education and Human Resource Development – project route is a 30.0 credit hour graduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge and applied skills in adult learning, workplace education, and organizational development. Offered through the University of Regina, the program focuses on helping professionals apply educational theory directly to real-world challenges in educational and workplace settings. The curriculum begins with EAHR 850 or an approved research methods course, which builds foundational skills in research design and analysis. Students also complete EAHR 801 or 802, which provide core theoretical understanding in adult education and human resource development. In addition, learners take three EAHR 8xx elective courses and three additional graduate-level electives, allowing for specialization in areas aligned with their professional interests. The program culminates in ED 900, a 6.0 credit hour applied project that enables students to integrate theory and practice by addressing a real-world problem in education or organizational development. Unlike the thesis route, this project emphasizes applied learning rather than independent original research.
