COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Administration (MAdmin) in Leadership – Co-op is a 30-credit hour graduate program offered through the University of Regina that focuses on developing advanced leadership, management, and strategic decision-making skills. While it shares the same core academic structure as other MAdmin pathways, the co-op option is distinguished by its strong emphasis on practical work experience integrated into the degree. All versions of the program include foundational courses such as GBUS 817, GBUS 870, and GBUS 874, along with a selection of advanced leadership electives like GBUS 815, GBUS 860, GBUS 865, GBUS 871, GBUS 873, and GBUS 875. However, the co-op stream uniquely includes GBUS 801 and GBUS 802, which represent structured work terms that provide students with real-world professional experience in organizational and leadership roles. This allows students to apply classroom learning directly in industry settings, enhancing employability and practical understanding of leadership challenges. In contrast, non-co-op options typically replace work experience with a project, practicum, or research-based component such as GBUS 902.
