COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s Certificate (MCert) in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering is a 9.0 credit hour graduate program designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence applications within software systems engineering. Offered through the University of Regina, the program focuses on equipping learners with expertise in AI-driven technologies, intelligent systems, and engineering solutions for modern computing challenges. The certificate is structured around three graduate-level courses. Students begin by selecting one 3.0 credit hour course from options such as ENSE 811, ENSE 812, ENSE 817 (or ENGG 817), ENSE 818, or ENSE 873, which provide foundational knowledge in AI systems, machine learning, and advanced software engineering concepts. They then complete two additional courses (6.0 credit hours) chosen from a broader list that includes ENSE 805, ENSE 819, ENSE 828, ENSE 834, ENSE 865 (or ENEL 865), ENSE 870, ENSE 871, ENSE 874, ENSE 883, and others, allowing students to specialize in areas such as intelligent systems, data-driven engineering, and advanced computing applications.
