COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s Certificate (MCert) in Advanced Manufacturing is a 9.0 credit hour graduate-level program designed to provide focused, advanced training in modern manufacturing systems and industrial engineering technologies. Offered through the University of Regina, the program allows students to gain specialized knowledge in cutting-edge areas such as additive manufacturing, robotics, machine vision, microfabrication, composites, and world-class manufacturing practices. The certificate is structured around a flexible course selection model that combines foundational and advanced learning. Students begin by choosing one 3.0 credit hour course from options such as ENIN 880CH, ENIN 880CL, ENIN 880BD, ENIN 880BJ, ENIN 821 (or ENIN 880AL), ENIN 877, ENIN 820, or ENIN 903, which includes topics like robotics, additive manufacturing, and applied industrial projects. They then complete two additional courses (6.0 credit hours) selected from a broader list that includes advanced modules such as ENIN 812, ENIN 830, ENIN 880CG, ENIN 880BS, ENIN 880BX, ENIN 834, ENIN 888, and others, allowing students to tailor their studies to specific interests in advanced manufacturing technologies and systems engineering.
