COURSE CURRICULUM

The Certificate in Criminology at the University of Regina is a 30 credit hour program designed to be completed in approximately 12 months of consecutive study. It provides a focused introduction to the study of crime, justice, and social responses to harmful behaviour. The program helps students understand how criminal activity is defined, investigated, and addressed within legal and social systems. Students also complete CRIM 090 as an introductory course, followed by core criminology subjects including CRIM 101, CRIM 221, CRIM 230, CRIM 241, CRIM 319, and CRIM 350. In addition, students complete one open elective to broaden their academic exposure.
