COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Medical Radiation Technology program at the University of Regina requires students to complete a structured set of courses over two academic years after admission, totaling 60 credit hours at the university level. In Year 3, Fall Term, students take ENGL 100, BUS 100, CS 110, MATH 110, and SOC 222 to build foundational skills in communication, business, computing, mathematics, and social sciences. In the Winter Term of Year 3, students complete ENGL 110, BUS 260, CHEM 104, STAT 160, and PHYS 109, strengthening their knowledge in writing, business management, chemistry, statistics, and physics. In Year 4, Fall Term, students take PHYS 119, BUS 205, BUS 250, ECON 201 or 253, and one elective course, allowing them to expand both scientific and business-related understanding. In the Winter Term of Year 4, students complete PHYS 219, ECON 353, PHIL 276, and two additional elective courses, further developing advanced knowledge in physics, economics, ethics, and interdisciplinary studies. The program requires a minimum cumulative grade point average (PGPA) of 65 percent at the University of Regina. Overall, this curriculum is designed to strengthen both scientific expertise and professional skills, preparing students for advanced practice in medical radiation technology and healthcare environments.
