COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science Honours in Computer Science at the University of Regina is an advanced four-year undergraduate program designed for students seeking deeper expertise in computing and preparation for research or graduate studies. The program requires 120 credit hours and includes a strong core of computer science courses such as CS 110, 115, 180, 201, 210, 220, 280, 285, 301, 320, 321, 330, 335, 340, 350, 372, 375, 435, and 476, along with multiple 400-level CS courses that provide advanced specialization. Students also complete key culminating components like CS 488, CS 498, and CS 499, which typically involve significant project or research-based work. In addition, the program includes essential mathematics and statistics courses such as MATH 110, 122, 221, STAT 160 or 200, and an upper-level math or statistics course above 200. To ensure a well-rounded education, students also take ENGL 100 and 110, two natural science electives, arts or media electives, and open electives.
