COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Honours in Biochemistry at the University of Regina is a four-year advanced undergraduate program designed for students seeking deeper specialization in biochemical sciences and research. The program requires a total of 120 credit hours, with a stronger focus on advanced biochemistry compared to the regular BSc degree. Students complete core biochemistry courses such as BIOC 220, 221, 321, along with higher-level 300 and 400-level BIOC courses including BIOC 401 and BIOC 402, which emphasize research, laboratory skills, and advanced biochemical concepts. Supporting biology courses include BIOL 100, 101, 205, 224/266/378, 305, and 310, while chemistry forms a major foundation with CHEM 104, 105, 140, 210, 215/250, and 241.
