COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE) at the University of Regina is designed to prepare engineers who can efficiently organize and manage the full range of resources used in modern manufacturing and process industries, including materials, machinery, facilities, people, and capital. The program is structured over multiple terms and builds a strong foundation in mathematics, science, computing, and engineering principles. In the first term, students study core subjects such as CHEM 104, ENGG 100, PHYS 109, MATH 110, and MATH 122. The second term includes ENGG 123, ENGL 100, MATH 111, ENGG 140, and CS 110. In the third term, students progress to courses like ENEL 280, ENEV 223, ENGG 141, MATH 217, and a natural science elective. The fourth term focuses on ENIN 233, ENIN 241, MATH 213, STAT 289, and CHEM 105. In the fifth term, students take ENEV 261, ENGG 330, ENIN 331, ENIN 343, and a social science or natural science elective. The sixth term includes applied courses such as BUS 260, ECON 201, ENEL 361, ENIN 253, and ENIN 350. Overall, the program develops strong analytical, technical, and management skills for careers in industrial, manufacturing, and engineering systems.
