COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Global Leadership at UPEI is a full-time, immersive program typically completed over two years, with an accelerated one-year option available for students seeking flexibility. The program begins with a zero-credit Skills Orientation Module in early September, followed by courses offered throughout the Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters. Students must complete a total of 42 credit hours, consisting of eleven core courses (33 credit hours) and three elective courses (9 credit hours), all within two years of admission. The core courses cover essential topics such as global leadership and ethics, negotiation across cultures, financial and managerial accounting, financial management, organizational behavior, international marketing and operations management, business analytics, project management, strategy, and an international capstone project. Electives offer students the opportunity to specialize in areas such as corporate governance, disruptive technologies, global banking, supply chain management, innovation and entrepreneurship, international trade, team management, marketing futures, climate change impacts, and special topics or directed studies in international business. This comprehensive curriculum equips students with the knowledge, skills, and strategic mindset required to succeed in a dynamic, global business environment, preparing them to take on leadership roles and navigate complex challenges effectively.
