COURSE CURRICULUM

The Organizational Management specialization in the Bachelor of Business Administration program focuses on enhancing leadership and management skills to improve organizational effectiveness and stakeholder outcomes. Building on core BBA courses like organizational behaviour, human resource management, and leadership, this specialization offers a deeper exploration of management through a blend of business, social science, and liberal arts courses. Emphasizing an evidence-based approach, students learn to analyze organizational issues using social and behavioural research methods, fostering thoughtful, ethical, and productive leadership.To complete the specialization, students select three courses from a list of business management options, including Industrial Relations, Communications, Project Management, Organizational Development and Change, Intercultural Management, and Leadership Studies. They also complete two research-focused courses from non-business subjects such as Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Information Technology, which emphasize qualitative and quantitative research skills. Additionally, students take four courses from a broader range of social science and liberal arts options covering labour economics, ethics, social psychology, creativity, social inequality, and the sociology of organizations.
