COURSE CURRICULUM

The Marketing specialization within the Bachelor of Business Administration program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing functions and activities, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Alongside the core BBA curriculum, students focus on key areas such as marketing communications, brand management, market research, consumer behaviour, personal selling and sales, and international marketing. This specialization is designed to prepare graduates for various entry-level roles in diverse organizations, including positions like account managers, marketing coordinators, and brand managers.To complete the specialization, students must successfully finish required courses including Integrated Marketing Communications, Consumer Behaviour, Market Research, Brand Management, Personal Selling and Sales, and International Marketing. Additionally, they choose any three electives from a broad selection that complements marketing studies, including Project Management, various Psychology courses (such as Social Psychology, Creativity, and Developmental Psychology), Sociology courses on media and society, Anthropology, Family Science, Theatre Studies, and Diversity and Social Justice Studies. These electives deepen students’ understanding of consumer behavior, cultural influences, and communication strategies. This well-rounded approach ensures that graduates possess the analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills necessary to excel in marketing roles within both small businesses and large corporations.
