COURSE CURRICULUM

MBA program with a concentration in Finance requires the successful completion of 45 graduate-level units: 33 units of compulsory core courses and 12 units dedicated to the Finance concentration. Core courses provide a strong foundation in areas such as data analysis, strategic formulation, leadership, marketing, financial and management accounting, economics, supply chain management, digital transformation, and consulting, culminating in a capstone project. For the Finance concentration, students must complete four specialized courses—Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Ethics in Finance, and Sustainable Finance—totaling 6 units. In addition, students choose 3 units from a list of advanced finance electives such as Financial Modelling, Mergers and Acquisitions, Equity Valuation, International Finance, FinTech, Alternative Investments, or Options and Futures. The final 3 units can be selected from any other electives offered within the MBA program. The Finance concentration is available in both English and French and is formally recognized on the student’s transcript and degree upon completion of all required courses in the stream. Students also have the option to pursue a 6-unit internship, declared after the first term, offering practical experience with eligibility based on criteria set by the host organization. This MBA path is designed for those aiming to develop deep expertise in finance while gaining a comprehensive business education.
