Lower-Division Requirement 100 Level Computer Programming I, Computer Programming II, Discrete Computational Mathematics, Writing and Communication Skills or Expository Writing, Calculus I (Calculus II is strongly recommended) 200 Level Introduction to Database Systems, Introduction to Logic Design, Computer Organization and Architecture, Ethics in Computing Science, Data Structures I, Linear Algebra Degree Requirements At least 20 Computer Science courses, totaling at least 61 credit hours in Computer Science At least 27 credit hours must be upper-division (300 or 400 level), including at least 12 credit hours at the 400 level MATH 335 and STAT 371 can count toward the Computer Science credit hour requirement MATH 150 may not be used for credit toward this major A minimum of 120 total credit hours is required to complete the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
