(Students wishing to pursue additional math courses as electives are advised to choose Calculus I and Linear Algebra.) 200 Level Courses: Business Communication, Entrepreneurship, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Management I, Organizational Behaviour, Introduction to Marketing, Introduction to Management Science, Applied Business Computing, Statistics for Business and the Social Sciences or Basic Statistics Upper-Division Requirements 300 and 400 Level Courses: Introduction to Business Law, Employment Law in Canada, Financial Management II, Human Resource Management, Business and Professional Ethics, Strategic Human Resource Planning, Organizational Effectiveness, Behavioural Marketing, Production and Operations Management, Management Information Systems, Strategic Management, Industrial Relations, Recruitment Selection and Retention, Compensation, Organizational Learning Development and Training, Workplace Health and Safety, Managerial Economics One of the following Economics courses (as best suits the student’s BComm major): Labour Economics, Women and the Economy, International Economic Relations, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, Introduction to Econometrics, Money Banking and Financial Institutions, Economics of Developing Countries, Global Economy and Development, Trade and the Environment, Financial Economics and Quantitative Methods Elective and Academic Breadth Requirement Elective credit hours must be taken as necessary to ensure completion of a minimum of 120 credit hours, including any additional credit hours required to meet the Academic Breadth requirement of the University (see Academic Regulation on Academic Breadth).
