📘 Program Requirements ✅ Lower-Division Requirements (100–200 level) Mandatory Courses: ECON 100-3: Microeconomics ECON 101-3: Macroeconomics MATH 150-3: Finite Mathematics for Business and Economics or MATH 220-3: Linear Algebra MATH 100-3: Calculus I or MATH 152-3: Calculus for Non-Majors One of the following (3 credits): COMM 100, CPSC 110, ENPL 104, FNST 100, INTS 100, or POLS 100 200 Level Core: ECON 205-3: Statistics for Business and the Social Sciences Two of the following (6 credits): ECON 204, ECON 206, ECON 210, or ECON 220 One of the following (3 credits): COMM 210, 220, 230, 240; CPSC 250; ENPL 206; FNST 249; INTS 210, 225; POLS 200, 202, or 255 ✅ Upper-Division Requirements (300–400 level) Core Courses: ECON 310-3: Intermediate Microeconomic Theory ECON 311-3: Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory ECON 312-3: Introduction to Econometrics ECON 412-3: Applying Economics in the Community or ECON 440-3: Internship Plus: 18 credit hours (6 courses) of upper-division Economics electives 6 credit hours of upper-level applied/policy courses from any discipline (may include Economics), with Chair approval Recommended for Graduate Study: ECON 320-3: Introduction to Mathematical Economics ECON 451-3: Advanced Microeconomic Theory 🧩 Electives & Academic Breadth Additional electives in any subject/level to reach 120 credit hours Must satisfy the university's Academic Breadth Regulation ✅ To Graduate, You Must Have: 120 total credit hours 45 credit hours in Economics (with 30 at upper-division) Completion of core and elective courses as per above structure Compliance with university breadth and academic regulations
