COURSE CURRICULUM

The University of New Brunswick (UNB) offers a diverse selection of 24 in-person undergraduate History courses for the Fall 2025 term on its Fredericton campus. These courses are delivered in traditional classroom settings and follow the standard academic term, typically running from early September to mid-December. Classes are scheduled in various formats including Monday, Wednesday, and Friday sessions of 50 minutes, Tuesday and Thursday sessions of 80 minutes, and some once-a-week classes lasting around 2.5 to 3 hours. This allows students to choose a schedule that suits their availability and learning style. Examples include HIST 1001: Past Into Present, offered in multiple MWF time slots; HIST 3347: Exploring Black History in New Brunswick, held on Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 5:20 PM; and HIST 3925: Technology and Society, conducted on Wednesday evenings. All courses listed are classroom-based, meaning students must attend on campus, and there are no online or open-entry options included in this selection.
