COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences program offers a variety of specialized courses designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical research skills. REHB 7170: Topics in Rehabilitation explores current issues and emerging trends in rehabilitation science, giving students an opportunity to engage with contemporary challenges in the field. REHB 7180: Readings in Rehabilitation focuses on critical analysis of key literature, allowing students to deepen their understanding of foundational concepts and recent developments. Students can undertake independent research through REHB 7230: Independent Study Credits, which offers six credit hours to support personalized study projects under faculty supervision. The course REHB 7260: Assistive Technology introduces students to technological advances that support individuals with disabilities, emphasizing practical applications in rehabilitation. A core requirement, REHB 7280: Rehabilitation Theory and Research Design, equips students with essential skills in designing rigorous research studies and understanding theoretical frameworks within rehabilitation sciences.
