COURSE CURRICULUM

The Pharmacology and Therapeutics MSc program requires students to complete 9 credit hours of coursework, which includes the mandatory courses PHAC 7136 (General Pharmacology) and PHAC 7222 (Molecular Pharmacology), along with an additional 3 credit hours chosen from a variety of specialized topics. Students can select courses such as PHAC 7062 (Drug Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion A), PHAC 7110 (Topics in Pharmacology), PHAC 7162 (Neuropharmacology), PHAC 7180 (Recent Advances in Pharmacology), and PHAC 7190 (Pharmacokinetics of Drug Disposition), depending on their research interests and advisor recommendations. Alongside coursework, students must complete and successfully defend a master’s thesis, demonstrating their ability to conduct independent research and contribute original knowledge to the field. The thesis allows students to develop expertise in a specific area of pharmacology and therapeutics, applying both theoretical and practical skills acquired throughout the program.
